What began as a hobby soon became a side-hustle and now my full time job.
My first journal, the little white book wedding planner, was created in the quiet moments I could find while working a fairly demanding job as a lawyer. It made a change to research and advise on something to close to my heart, as I was planning my own wedding.
Within six months of our Big Day in 2016, I’d become so busy with readers and customers that I left my job and took a leap of faith to take this from a side-hustle to a full-time labour of love. Since then, I’ve designed three more couples’ journals, a Christmas Memory Book, and most recently, a unique line of baby & childhood journals and a Baby Record Book. I work closely with my sister in Melbourne, Australia, and we send our journals internationally every day from Auckland and Melbourne.
